DETOXIFICATION AND CHELATION

Do you feel tired and without energy? Is nothing helping you? Maybe your body needs to be naturally purged from the inside.

Chelation therapy makes use of specific substances which are capable of clearing away heavy metals and other particles causing inflammation and damage to our organism. Everything that a person absorbs into the body during an entire lifetime is stored inside. Modern medicine has found that these substances can seriously endanger our health.

Special chelation infusions help to purge our cells and protect them. To achieve the desired effect, the treatment course is adjusted individually.

Why are heavy metals dangerous

… they cause premature aging

It has been shown that toxic heavy metals increase the activity of free radicals - the main cause of rapid aging. In the organism, toxic heavy metals can take the place of mineral cofactors which together with vitamins activate the body's enzymes instrumental for good health. In this way, the accumulation of heavy metals can contribute to premature aging and age-related diseases.

… they distort immunity

The toxicity of heavy metals can also lead to an abnormal functioning of the immune system. Also to learning disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. Typical symptoms are fatigue, mood swings, poor concentration, or hair loss. One of the major toxins that can cause all this is mercury. In genetically-susceptible persons even aluminium can play a major role in this case.

… they are carcinogenic

Some naturally occurring heavy metals such as arsenic, chromium or nickel are carcinogenic. In experimental animals, they led to the development of malignant growths and blocked the body's ability to repair damaged DNA.

Contra-indications

The therapy should not be used in patients with cachexia (anorexia, drowsiness and weight loss), anemia, renal insufficiency, immune system weakness, tuberculosis, all acute infectious diseases, cardiac arrhythmia, during pregnancy; as well as patients with hypothyroidism, liver cirrhosis and inflammation of the pancreas. Caution is in place for severe autoimmune diseases.

Adverse effects

Infusion site pain. Symptoms of the flu may appear 4-8 hours after an infusion (cold-bloodedness, muscle and joint pain), an urge to urinate, rarely nausea and vomiting.

Accompanying medication

According to the results of the laboratory tests and the identified deficiencies, supplementation of micro- and macro-substances, especially polyphenol complexes with antioxidant effects and the vitamin-B series (resveratrol, genistein, green tea, astaxanthin, young barley extract, etc.), vitamins and combinations of natural substances with chelating effects such as chlorella, spirulina, wheat-based extract and natural sulphur-containing products are needed

QUESTIONS FOR MUDr. GOLKOVÁ

How is chelation used in the Czech Republic? What may it be used for?

Chelation therapy is used in the Czech Republic for the treatment of certain diseases which are manifested by the accumulation of heavy metals in the body, resulting in damage especially to the liver and the cardiovascular system. Chelation can prevent organ damage, for example, in people who have to undergo long-term transfusion therapy. It is also used in acute intoxications - heavy-metal poisoning, especially by lead or mercury.

In which cases do you recommend chelation to a client?

If, based on objective blood and tissue tests, we find that the client has health problems that are associated with heavy-metal intoxication or heavy-metal allergies. Symptoms that are caused by heavy metals include, for example, increased fatigue, immune disorders, headaches and other neurological complaints, hair loss, and cardiovascular disease. First of all, it is necessary to examine and complete all micro-nutrients thoroughly - vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
