How mesotherapy is performed
During mesotherapy, an injection pen delivers therapeutic solutions directly into the middle layer of the skin through tiny microinjections. The advantage is that the substances reach the precise site where they are intended to act. The most popular materials are non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid gels. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body whose functions include binding water in the skin to keep it hydrated.
During the 30-minute procedure, you feel no pain, only gentle pressure. The microneedles are very fine. An anaesthetic cream is also applied to the skin before the procedure.
The number and frequency of treatments are individual. We usually perform the second and third treatments at 14-day intervals, followed by another after 2 months. To maintain the effect, it is advisable to undergo a course 2 times a year.
Mesotherapy provides longer-lasting skin hydration, making it particularly suitable for very dry or mature skin, or skin dried out by weather conditions.
After treatment, the skin is slightly red and small injection marks may be visible, but these heal very quickly. Healing usually takes 2-3 days. The internal process of skin renewal continues for another four to six months, during which the skin becomes progressively smoother and more supple.
